Chelsea target Daniel Alves has revealed he wants to leave Sevilla.
The highly-rated Brazilian's future has been the subject of intense speculation for some time with a number of Europe's top clubs credited with an interest in his services.
Chelsea are thought to be lining up a move for Alves as they look to bring in a new right-back for the start of the new season.
Sevilla are determined not to lose their prize asset, with the player contracted to the club until 2012.
However, Alves has indicated that he feels the time is right to move on and he has set his sights on joining a top European club.
"My objective is to play in another team," Alves told Arena Sportv.
"I have been at Sevilla for five years and now I think it's the moment to give a step forward in my career and play at a European giant.
"I won all what could be won at Sevilla so I feel that this is the moment for following my career in another place.
"In one year we changed Sevilla's history. We won three titles in one year and that hasn't happened for a long time."
