Klinsmann: Ready to return?
Germany coach Joachim Low has backed Jurgen Klinsmann as an ideal candidate for the England job.
Klinsmann, who guided his native Germany to the World Cup semi-finals in 2006, has been linked with the role that became vacant following Steve McClaren's dismissal.
Low believes the former Tottenham striker is ready to return to the game and would be interested in taking charge of a national team again.
Low is unsure whether the Football Association is considering Klinsmann but has urged England to move for him.
"I'm 100 per cent sure he will be back in football because he was so successful as a player and as a coach," Low said in the Daily Mirror.
"I don't know what exactly his plan is, but if he gets a good offer from a national team, he will do that.
"England have not told me what they are planning, but for any big team like them he would be a good coach."
Meanwhile, Low is confident Germany can progress from Euro 2008 Group B after being drawn alongside Austria, Croatia and Poland.
"I wouldn't say it is a really lucky draw," he told the DFB's official website.
"Austria will have the whole nation behind them and one shouldn't underestimate that fact.
"Croatia beat England in qualifying, and we all saw how difficult it is against Poland when we played them at the World Cup.
"But we have every chance of reaching the next round. The order in which we play our matches doesn't matter; we have to make our way whatever."
