Crouch: Remains confident
Peter Crouch is confident Liverpool can keep alive their title aspirations on Sunday, as they travel to Chelsea in a game that can be seen live on Sky Sports 1.
The England striker grew up in West London and was a regular at Stamford Bridge as a youngster.
Ahead of his return to his boyhood favourites he is relishing the opportunity to silence those that have suggested Liverpool are no longer contenders for the Premier League crown.
Liverpool have a wretched record against the division's finest, but Crouch is convinced they can register their first victory away from Anfield against a top three club under Rafa Benitez.
"It's a big game next for us at Chelsea, and we were more interested in taking the points against Sunderland to give us confidence for the next match at Stamford Bridge," said Crouch.
"We will go into that game with more confidence now. We are good enough to beat Chelsea, we have done it before and I am sure we can do it again although it will be a difficult game.
"We have beaten Chelsea in big, big games before, and this is a big one for both of us.
"They want to challenge Arsenal and Manchester United and we have got to make sure we keep our momentum going, so it is important for both sides."
