Megson: Perplexed
Bolton Wanderers manager Gary Megson has hit out at Atletico Madrid over a potential security breach ahead of Thursday evening's Uefa Cup second leg encounter at Vicente Calderon.
The Spanish side has posted Bolton's entire trip itinerary - including their flight number and arrival time, plus the name of their hotel and training schedule - on their official website.
And Megson has questioned Atletico's actions, voicing his concerns over his staff and players' safety.
He said: "This is very strange behaviour for a club of Atletico's size and status. It obviously raises serious security concerns regarding Bolton Wanderers players and staff ahead of this game."
The British Embassy in Madrid are looking into the incident - which has done little to ease tensions between the two sides ahead of what could be another fiery fixture.
Bolton edged the first leg, picking up a 1-0 triumph; however the match was marred by the actions of Sergio Aguero, who was dismissed for spitting.
