Murphy: will win 56th cap at Twickenham

Geordan Murphy has been passed fit for Ireland's RBS Six Nations fixture against England on Saturday.

The full-back missed last Saturday's 16-12 defeat against Wales due to an Achilles injury, but came through training unscathed on Thursday and will take his place in the starting line-up at Twickenham.

"Ireland full-back Geordan Murphy underwent a fitness test on his Achilles injury today during the Ireland training session in UCD," read a team statement.

"He came through the test and has been passed fit to take his place in the team to play England on Saturday."
