Beckham: Happy with Galaxy
Alexi Lalas says Los Angeles Galaxy have received no enquiries for David Beckham amid reports the midfielder is wanted back in the Premier League.
Beckham, who is set to win his 100th England cap against France next week after being recalled by Fabio Capello, has been linked with a return to English football.
The 32-year-old joined the Galaxy last summer from Real Madrid and there have been claims that playing Major League Soccer will hinder his international ambitions.
But the club's president and general manager Lalas remains convinced that the former Manchester United star is happy with the Galaxy.
Lalas also confirmed that there had been no offers to take Beckham back to England ahead of the start of the new MLS season.
"Absolutely not," Lalas told Sky Sports News when asked if there had been any enquiries for the ex-England captain.
"I don't doubt there's interest in David Beckham from clubs all over the world, but the fact is that he's said before he's happy.
"All the indications from watching him train, and watching him behave on and off the pitch, are that he is 100 per cent happy and committed to the Galaxy and the city of Los Angeles.
"Until something changes, that's what we're going to go with and that's what we believe.
"We haven't had any enquiries, formal or informal, regarding David going to play somewhere else other than LA Galaxy."
