Barry: Escaped ban
Harlequins centre De Wet Barry has been cleared of a deliberate late charge on an Mathew Tait at an RFU disciplinary hearing in London on Monday.
The 29-year-old was sent-off during the Guinness Premiership match against Newcastle Falcons at The Stoop on Saturday, March 29.
But the panel chaired by His Honour Judge Jeff Blackett found Barry not guilty and he is free to play with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, London Wasps number-eight Lawrence Dallaglio has been banned for one week for striking an opponent, but will be able to play at the weekend.
Dallaglio had been cited for a breach of Law 10.4(a) in the EDF Energy Cup semi-final against Leicester Tigers on Saturday, March 22.
However, the club captain pleaded guilty and the RFU confirmed the suspension imposed by Wasps from March 25 to 31, which subsequently means he is free to play from Tuesday, April 1.
Leicester's Fijian centre Seru Rabeni's case has yet to be heard.
