Ronaldinho: City interest
Sky Sports News understands Manchester City remain hopeful of signing Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho this summer.
The World Cup winner has been told he is surplus to requirements at Barcelona as he does not feature in new coach Pep Guardiola's long-term plans.
City have a long-standing interest in securing Ronaldinho's services and are still in talks in the hope a deal can be reached, despite interest from a number of Europe's leading sides.
A source close to the talks told Sky Sports News: "There is still a strong possibility that the deal to take Ronaldinho to Eastlands can still be done."
It is understood the deal is complex and detailed, but as long as talks continue City believe they can pull off the biggest transfer coup of the summer.
Should City land Ronaldinho, it would mean new manager Mark Hughes would have one of the most creative and gifted players in the world at his disposal for the new Premier League season.
