Ipswich Witches produced an impressive display to beat Swindon Robins 54-39 in the Sky Sports Elite League on Monday evening.
It was a fine team effort from the Witches with Piotr Swiderski and Robert Miskowiak both scoring 12+1 points and Jarek Hampel chipping in with 11, including three heat wins.
Tobi Kroner (11+1) and Chris Schramm (5+2) claimed a 5-1 for the hosts in heat two to open an advantage that was never challenged throughout the remainder of a one-sided fixture.
The result was sealed as early as heat 13 when Swiderski took his third victory.
Leigh Adams (15+1) and Travis McGowan (8+1) both won two heats on a disappointing night for the Robins, who missed the chance to pull level with Poole Pirates at the top of the table.
"We did the business tonight and I've got to be pleased," said Ipswich team manager Peter Simmons.
"The boys have done me proud."
Elsewhere on a busy evening of Elite League action there were wins for Belle Vue, Lakeside and Eastbourne.
Charlie Gjedde scored 14 points as Belle Vue dispatched Peterborough 53-39, while Andreas Jonsson led the way with 13 points in Lakeside's 51-42 success over Coventry.
Eastbourne were grateful to Scott Nicholls (11+1) for his performance in the 48-45 win against Wolverhampton.
