Ferguson: Happy with squad
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson insists he may not sign any new players this summer.
After claiming the Premier League and UEFA Champions League double last term, Ferguson was never going to overhaul his squad.
However, at least one big signing - with a new striker looking the most pressing need for Ferguson - was expected.
Many of world's top forwards including Dimitar Berbatov, David Villa and Karim Benzema have been linked with Old Trafford.
But Ferguson admits his current squad, although depleted by injury ahead of the new season, may not be added too.
"We still have not brought in the kind of top-quality player everyone seems to be expecting," the Scot said.
"We might well start 2008-09 with largely the squad we had last season, and after all, they didn't do too badly!
"We have the right balance of youth and experience, thanks to the work we did in the transfer market the previous year.
"So I think we already have the men for the job."
