Saha: Verbal agreement
Louis Saha has confirmed there is a 'verbal agreement' which will see him join Everton.
Saha has fallen out of favour at Manchester United and is expected to leave Old Trafford as manager Sir Alex Ferguson steps up his bid to sign Dimitar Berbatov.
It is rumoured Saha will sign a contract at Goodison Park this weekend and the 30-year-old has confirmed he is on the verge of a move to the Toffees.
"Nothing has been signed yet," Saha told L'Equipe.
"But it is true there is a verbal agreement for a two-year contract with Everton, and both clubs' officials have agreed transfer details.
"I had a brief talk with the Everton manager (David Moyes). He has been very honest with me, and explained the way he wants to use me. It went smoothly."
Saha has been plagued by injuries during his time with United, but he is now confident he is back to full fitness.
"I am fit again," he added. "I spent the whole pre-season with United without feeling any pain.
"I just need to play. That is what Alex Ferguson told me."
