McShane: Hull loan
Hull City have completed the signing of Sunderland defender Paul McShane on a season-long loan.
McShane joined the Black Cats from West Bromwich Albion last summer and made 21 Premier League appearances for Roy Keane's side in his debut campaign.
However, the 22-year-old has yet to feature for the Wearside club this term, with his chances not helped by the recent arrival of centre-back Anton Ferdinand from West Ham United.
The Republic of Ireland international will now ply his trade at the KC Stadium for the 2008/09 season as Hull look to continue their promising start to their first term in the top flight.
