Bilic: Concentrating on Croatia
Slaven Bilic has refused to comment on the vacant West Ham job as he prepares for Croatia's World Cup qualifying campaign.
Alan Curbishley stepped down as manager at Upton Park on Wednesday and former Hammers defender Bilic has emerged as a popular choice to replace him.
Bilic steered Croatia to the quarter-finals of Euro 2008 and he stated earlier on Thursday that he was fully committed to his current role.
He is under contract until the end of the 2010 World Cup and is paying no attention to speculation about his future.
Croatia take on Kazakhstan on Saturday before facing England next Wednesday and Bilic insists that everyone in the squad is staying focused on the task at hand.
Asked if the West Ham talk had been unsettling for the squad, Bilic said on Sky Sports News: "No, not at all.
Quizzed on whether the players had discussed the matter with him, Bilic answered: "Nobody has asked me. They have read it on the internet or in the paper but (they have not asked me).
"We are playing Kazakhstan and we are just concentrating on that game."
