Ferguson: Delighted with Ronaldo
Sir Alex Ferguson insists he will not become embroiled in a war of words with Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon.
The Manchester United manager was critical of Real in a magazine interview earlier this week and his comments drew a curt response from the Spanish champions.
Calderon suggested Ferguson was going senile as the fall-out from Real's public pursuit of United winger Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer continued.
United boss Ferguson was asked about Calderon's comment at his Friday press conference and believes the Real supremo is still disappointed at missing out on Ronaldo.
Ferguson said on Sky Sports News: "Calderon has got a few things to say every week.
"A lot of hot air comes out of that man, but I'm not getting involved.
"The nub of it is he is very disappointed he did not get Ronaldo.
"I'm delighted to say he's still here and I will keep repeating that."
