Tevez: Boost for United
Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez is in contention to feature in Wednesday's Carling Cup tie against Derby County.
Tevez has missed United's last two matches after he was allowed to return to his native Argentina due to personal reasons.
However, he is due to resume training with the Red Devils on Monday and is in line to figure in the first leg of the semi-final in midweek.
"Carlos will be back in training on Monday and he'll be involved on Wednesday," United boss Sir Alex Ferguson told MUTV.
Tevez has been instrumental in United's wins over QPR and Blackburn Rovers in the previous two rounds and is expected to start at Pride Park, live on Sky Sports 1 and HD1.
Regarding the rest of his side, Ferguson will largely select from the same squad which overcame Southampton 3-0 in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
He added: "It'll be virtually the same squad [that travelled to Southampton]. I might leave out one or two, but it'll be more or less the same group of players."
