Papua New Guinea forward Jason Chen is heading to the Super League after agreeing to join new boys Celtic Crusaders.
The 24-year-old caught the eye of the Crusaders during the World Cup, with the Australian-born second row helping the minnows from PNG impress despite being drawn alongside England, Australia and New Zealand.
Chen, who scored a first-half try against England, has been playing his club rugby for little-known New South Wales-based outfit Windsor Wolves.
There, Chen scored 16 tries and kicked 64 goals in 47 appearances, helping the Wolves - a feeder club for the Penrith Panthers - lift the Jim Beam Cup last season.
"We certainly noticed his performances in the World Cup, and that's what made us invite him to train with us," Crusaders coach John Dixon told The Guardian.
