Santa Cruz: City target
Roque Santa Cruz admits his future remains unclear as Blackburn continue to fight off interest from Manchester City.
The Paraguay international has been identified as one of the City's top targets during the January transfer window.
Mark Hughes' men have already seen two approaches for the striker knocked back, with their valuation of the player not matching Rovers' sizeable price tag.
Santa Cruz has now revealed that £25million could be enough to prise him away from Ewood Park but, with City continuing to investigate other avenues, concedes that a move to Eastlands is by no means a foregone conclusion.
"I thought when they offered £16 million it was going to be accepted," he told Futbol a lo Grande.
"It seems the club is worried that they won't be able to find a replacement if I go - that is what is giving them doubts.
"You hear all the time that the club have asked for £20 million and I don't know if City are going to offer that or if they are going to increase their bid.
"For $35-37 million (around £25 million) they [Blackburn] said that I will be allowed to leave."
