Fortune: Set for English switch
Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune claims to be on the verge of signing for West Brom.
Should a deal for the 27-year-old go through, he will sign an initial six-month deal at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies will then have the option to make that agreement permanent over the summer should they wish to do so.
"My agent is sorting out the last few details of my arrival," Fortune is quoted as saying on www.football365.fr.
"I am going to take a medical and I will then sign."
Fortune has been with Nancy since 2007, moving to France from Dutch outfit Utrecht.
Should he complete a move to England, he will be joining a side that sit rock bottom in the Premier League table - three points adrift of safety.
