Cudicini: No Spurs bid
Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp has denied making a bid for Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini.
Reports have claimed that Spurs have offered £1million for Cudicini, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Redknapp has been assessing his goalkeeping options, with Cesar Sanchez set to join Valencia, leaving the inexperienced Ben Alnwick as back-up to Heurelho Gomes.
But, speaking after seeing Spurs squeeze into the Carling Cup final at Burnley's expense, Redknapp dismissed an offer for Cudicini.
"I don't know anything about Cudicini," Redknapp told Sky Sports 1.
The Spurs chief is looking forward to seeing new signing Wilson Palacios in action, but fears some of his players are concerned about new arrivals at White Hart Lane.
He added: "That's why I've bought him. He gives everything, he gets after it and he plays with energy.
"One or two of them tonight looked like they had a sulk on because they think I'm going to bring one or two new players in.
"They should be fighting for their lives to stay at a great club like Tottenham. It's a fantastic football club, great tradition and their futures are on the line for some of them.
"They need to perform for me to want to keep them in the long term."
