Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has claimed Tottenham Hotspur's reported £10million bid for Diego Milito would only be enough to buy the striker's ear.
Milito has been linked with a move away from Stadio Luigi Ferraris, with Spurs and Serie A giants Inter Milan mooted as interested parties.
However, Genoa have no intention of selling the Argentina striker, who has netted 16 goals for the club this season.
"Milito has already refused Tottenham in the past," Preziosi said. "They offered him a lot more than Genoa ever could.
"The £10million bid from Spurs is ridiculous. For that figure I would only give an English club the ear of Milito."
Milito rejoined Genoa last summer from Real Zaragoza after he had left the Grifone in 2005 when they were relegated to Serie C.
