Howell: In trouble
Harlequins centre David Howell could be hit with a five-match ban after being charged with an illegal tackle on Wigan's Sam Tomkins.
Howell has been charged by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee for a Grade D illegal tackle at the JJB Stadium in an incident that sparked outrage among the Wigan players, not least from Tomkins' brother Joel.
The 25-year-old centre was sent off for the hit in the 40-12 defeat and has since been charged with intentional striking with hand, arm or shoulder (forearm).
His case will be heard via video conference on Tuesday afternoon.
