Tim Easterby-trained Antoniola secured success in the Racing & Football Outlook Nursery at Doncaster.
The Graham Gibbons-ridden entry relished going a mile before accounting for Alsrasm by a length.
"He is a very nice horse, but I thought he might have struggled from stall 20," said Easterby.

"He ran second over a mile at Newbury and was dropping back to seven furlongs here so I was happy to let him bowl along, and he got the job done nicely."
