Fergie: Wary of January prices
Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted he may not strengthen his Manchester United squad when the transfer window reopens.
The Red Devils have been tipped to bolster their forward line with the likes of Carlton Cole and Edin Dzeko linked with the club.
However, Ferguson is against paying the inflated prices which is often associated with doing transfer business in January.
That means the vastly-experienced tactician is prepared to rely on his current squad to land an unprecedented fourth successive league title.
"I would like to do business, but only if the prices are right - and that can be a problem in January," he told the Mail on Sunday.
