England will be based in the city of Rustenburg for this summer's World Cup finals, Fifa has confirmed.

Three Lions chief Fabio Capello had long targeted the North Western town as his favoured base, and has visited the area numerous times in the past few months.

Now Capello, following his latest visit to South Africa this week, has finalised England's plans, which have been ratified by Fifa.

England will stay at the new Royal Bafokeng Sports Campus for the duration of their stay in the tournament.

England kick-off their campaign in Rustenburg on 12th June, against USA.
