Fabregas: Set to return
Cesc Fabregas is expected to be fit for Arsenal's game against West Ham United on Saturday, but William Gallas is out for a further two matches.
Arsenal captain Fabregas has sat out the club's last two fixtures after aggravating a hamstring injury in the 3-1 win over Burnley earlier this month.
However, the Spain midfielder has made positive progress from the injury and should be back in Arsene Wenger's side for the weekend visit of West Ham.
Fabregas will undergo a fitness test on Friday, along with Tomas Rosicky, but Wenger is hopeful his skipper will be available.
"Cesc and Tomas have a final test tomorrow morning," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.
"They should be available for Saturday.
"From the last game we don't lose anybody. So normally we should have Fabregas, Carlos Vela and Rosicky back. Plus of course we have Song coming back from suspension."
The news is less positive for Gallas, however, with the French defender having not played since last month's 1-0 win over Liverpool.
Having already missed six matches due to his calf injury, Gallas will also be unavailable against West Ham and against Birmingham the following weekend.
Wenger added: "William Gallas will not be available this week or at Birmingham. It is going on and on. It is a concern.
"It is an endless calf strain and so we need Sol Campbell and Mikael Silvestre to be highly ready to help us out."
