Klasnic: Keen on Bolton return
Bolton are still keen to bring Ivan Klasnic back to the club from Nantes, but only if the price is right.
Whites chairman Phil Gartside is currently in negotiations with money-stricken Nantes over a season-long loan deal for the striker, with a decision expected to be reached over the next few days.
Manager Owen Coyle is eager to bolster his resources up front, while Croatia international Klasnic has reportedly told Nantes he wants to return to the Premier League, where he scored eight goals on loan for Bolton last season.
But cash could prove a sticking point in the transfer, with Coyle insisting the club will not pay over the odds for the 30-year-old forward, who is currently on a reported £60,000-a-week salary.
"I have said all along that if we can get something sorted financially with Ivan, then I would love to have him back at the football club," Coyle told the Bolton News.
"But finance does play a part - and without getting into the bits and pieces, he's on a fantastic contract at his club. That's the only thing standing in our way, nothing else.
"I think Ivan is a top class player who will score goals in my team. But if it's too rich for the football club, it's too rich."
