Roda JC claimed their first win of the season as they eased to a 3-0 win over Willem II in Kerkrade.

The home side went ahead just before the interval with Sanharib Malki scoring before Krisztian Nemeth doubled their advantage 16 minutes from time.

Jordens Peters was sent off by Willem before Adil Ramzi sealed the win.

RKC Waalwijk climbed to second as they maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-1 draw at home to Heracles.

The visitors went ahead on the first minute with Willie Overtoom scoring, but RKC levelled just before the break through Florian Jozefzoon.

Heracles remain without a win to their name so far this term, with two draws and two losses from their opening four games.

NAC Breda are also winless after four games as they drew 1-1 at home to FC Utrecht.

Alex Schalk put them ahead after 35-minutes, but they could not hang on for all three points as Alexander Gerndt fired with 17-minutes left.

Newly promoted FC Zwolle remain winless after they suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat at home to NEC Nijmegen.

Two early penalties from Ryan Koolwijk set NEC on their way, but by this time the home side were already down to 10 men as Leon ter Wielen was sent-off.

Zwolle then had to play with nine men for the last half-hour as Joey van den Berg also saw red.

NEC took advantage of the extra two men as Evander Sno and Melvin Platje added further goals.
