Power misses opportunity as rain plays havoc in Baltimore

Ryan Hunter-Reay claimed victory in the Grand Prix of Baltimore on Sunday to keep alive his hopes of winning the IndyCar Series championship.
Will Power could have clinched the title had he turned his pole position into a race victory, but the Australian was only able to finish sixth in a rain-affected race that drew no fewer than nine caution flags.
It means Power will take a 17-point lead over Hunter-Reay into the final race of the season in Fontana, California on September 15.
An unhappy Power, along with Ryan Briscoe who took second, questioned Hunter-Reay's timing on a restart near the end of the race, but officials cleared the race winner of any wrongdoing after studying replays.
Behind Briscoe, rookie Simon Pagenaud finished third with Scott Dixon claiming fourth.
Dario Franchitti's disappointing campaign endured another setback as he spun out after being clipped from behind by Simona de Silvestro.
The Scot was able to restart but lost a lot of time and eventually trailed home in 13th.
