London Welsh head coach Lyn Jones claims there is "more to come" from the Exiles following their opening loss to Leicester.

The Exiles' first appearance in the Aviva Premiership ended in a 38-13 loss to the Tigers at the Kassam Stadium on Sunday.

Things do not get any easier for Welsh, though, with a trip to defending champions Harlequins next up on Friday.

However Jones believes his side can only get better.

"There was a lot of good in our game and there's a lot more to come."

"There was a lot of good in our game and there's a lot more to come," Jones told the club's official site.

"I thought our scrum was excellent and our defence was organised. We were stepping up and the first 20 minutes we were naive, but we've got foundations to build upon.

"What's important for us is that we develop to become a tough team to beat, we enjoy playing and we create a game that our supporters are going to enjoy coming to watch.

"And with that you've got to create the right culture that's going to underpin the medium term goals of the club."
