French trainer eyes Cambridgeshire pot

French trainer Mikel Delzangles is no stranger to success on Newmarket's Rowley Mile and is hopeful about Talk About's chances in the Betfred Cambridgeshire on Saturday.
If successful, Talk About would become only the second French-trained winner of the Betfred Cambridgeshire following Sayani in 1946.
The four-year-old, who carries the famous red and white silks of owner the Marquesa De Moratalla, is among 88 confirmations for the famous contest and was last seen finishing a close sixth in a Listed handicap at Deauville over a mile on August 12.
Talk About was a decisive five-length winner of a Saint-Cloud handicap over an extended 10 furlongs in March.
Delzangles, who sent out Makfi to win the QIPCO 2000 Guineas at Newmarket in 2010, said: "Talk About is going to run in the Betfred Cambridgeshire on Saturday. I have been very happy with him and going to Newmarket for a big handicap will be a good experience for us.
"He ran very well at Deauville last time as he went from the outside to the inside and made up a lot of ground. It was a good field that day and he ran a good race.
"The step up to nine furlongs will definitely help him and they go a faster pace in England which will suit him too.
"I think he has more improvement in him but he is definitely a handicap horse - he is not going to win a Group race - and he is very honest and courageous which I think you need to do well in the Cambridgeshire.
"I think Talk About certainly has a chance on Saturday."
Talk About is rated at 50/1 for the Cambridgeshire by Sky Bet.
