Eden Hazard and Fernando Torres: Backed to pick up points

Sky Bet

A host of home bankers should provide points aplenty for Sky Sports Fantasy Football bosses this weekend.

Manchester City and Chelsea are both overwhelming favourites on Saturday, while Tottenham and Liverpool will also be expected to record comfortable wins on Sunday.

Chelsea look most certain to deliver, as Sky Bet's 2/9 favourites for victory when they host Norwich, having made a near-perfect start to the season.

The bookies make Fernando Torres odds-on to score, while Eden Hazard and Oscar are as short as evens to net anytime against a side sticking to the second-season syndrome script.

The winless Canaries had five put past them by Liverpool last weekend and can take little hope from their recent trips to Stamford Bridge, having conceded 15 in their last four visits.

Chelsea's backline also looks worth a look at with Petr Cech in fine form with four clean sheets already this season, while Ashley Cole is the top scoring defender in the game so far with 43 points.

Sunderland, like Norwich, are 10/1 outsiders as they travel to the Etihad Stadium, looking to end a 10-match winless run on the road at a venue which has not witnessed a home defeat in 32 league matches.

However, City's form has lacked the authority of last term, conceding in all six games so far, while Steven Fletcher's remarkable record of scoring from all five shots this season makes Roberto Mancini's backline even more undesirable.

Sergio Aguero is the obvious pick in terms of goalscorers, while it is worth waiting until seeing the line-ups before picking any of his prospective striker partners with Edin Dzeko, Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli being rotated.

Yaya Toure (£8.1m) is actually City's highest scoring player so far this season with 40 points thanks to two goals, an assist and a Sky Sports man-of-the-match award.

Hat-trick hero

Last week's hat-trick hero Luis Suarez (£9.2m) is likely to be popular as Liverpool look to record their first home league win under Brendan Rodgers, while the Reds' backline hold appeal with Stoke failing to net in their last four visits to Anfield.

Youngster Raheem Sterling is a far cheaper pick at £4.3m and is enjoying a run in the first team, having put in two man-of-the-match performances, while Nuri Sahin (£6m) has impressed with a goal and an assist since arriving on loan.

Tottenham already have a first home win under their new boss Andre Villas-Boas and will be going for a fourth successive win when Aston Villa visit.

Gareth Bale was the star of the show in last weekend's historic win at Old Trafford, netting once and setting up Spurs' other two goals, while Jermain Defoe is their top points scorer this season thanks to his four-goal haul.

Sunday's earlier game between Southampton and Fulham looks one to avoid in terms of defences, with both struggling at the back, while Rickie Lambert (£6.8m), Damien Duff (£5.7m) and Mladen Petric (£6.8m) are the in-form attacking options.

Manchester United's trip to Newcastle also looks a tough one to call, but attacks can be expected to have the better of defences with the likes of Papiss Cisse, Demba Ba, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie on show.

Ba netted in both league meetings last season and is the game's second top point scorer with 51 thanks to six goals, while Robin van Persie, who bagged a brace in midweek, has netted in his last five meetings with the Magpies.

In terms of defensive options, West Brom tempt against struggling QPR, having kept eight clean sheets in the last 10 games at the Hawthorns, with Gareth McAuley picking up 35 points already.
