Reckless Abandon will face nine rivals when he puts his unbeaten record on the line in the Vision.ae Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.

Impressive on his Doncaster debut and in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot, Clive Cox's juvenile has since struck gold twice across the Channel, completing his four-timer with a fine display in the Prix Morny at Deauville.

Leading French jockey Gerald Mosse has partnered the youngster to his last two wins and makes the journey to Britain to keep the partnership intact.

Adam Kirby was on board Reckless Abandon at Doncaster and Ascot, but gets the leg-up on the Marco Botti-trained Moohaajim.

The pair struck gold in the Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury last month and although he was behind Reckless Abandon in the Morny, Botti's two-year-old endured a troubled passaged to the line.

Aidan O'Brien saddles Cristoforo Colombo, Gale Force Ten and Parliament Square.

Kevin Ryan's Blaine deserves his place in the line-up having won his first two starts, including the Gimcrack Stakes at York's Ebor Festival.

Ryan also runs Hototo, while the field is completed by Heavy Metal, Master Of War and Wexford Opera.

The only defectors from the confirmation stage were George Vancouver and Taayel.
