Belgium striker Christian Benteke has vowed to end Scotland's World Cup dreams in their clash in Brussels next week.

Scotland travel to Belgium for their crucial World Cup qualifier on Tuesday with their hopes of reaching Brazil hanging by a thread following their loss to Wales.

Aston Villa hit-man Benteke, who scored for Belgium in their win over Serbia on Friday, is keen to put Scotland to the sword and maintain Belgium's push for the 2014 World Cup finals

"We have what it takes to remain top of the group," Benteke told the Sunday Mail.

"We have to keep our run going and beat Scotland on Tuesday. We can savour our win over Serbia but must remember we have not yet guaranteed our place at the finals."
