Tom Cleverley admits he is ready to play in whatever role he is needed for England against Poland on Tuesday.
England take on Poland in Warsaw on Tuesday aiming to maintain their bid to qualify for the World Cup finals in Brazil.
Manchester United ace Cleverley was utilised in a more central midfield role in Friday's win over San Marino after playing behind the front man in recent England games.
Cleverley says he is at ease in either role and believes his education at Old Trafford has stood him in good stead.
"It has always been a part of my game [playing in different roles] growing up through the youth team, the reserves," Cleverley told Sky Sports News.
"I think that's a positive of growing up at Manchester United - you just don't learn to play in one position.
"I played number ten at the Olympics so I am used to playing in that position and for my club I tend to play a bit deeper so I can play both of those positions for my country."
The 23-year-old has featured in all four England games this season and Cleverley is hoping to maintain his good run of form against Poland.
"I am really pleased about that [featuring in all four England games this season]," added Cleverley.
"It makes me feel really proud and I am always happy to represent my country.
"We have won three and drew one [of the four games] and hopefully I will get the nod on Tuesday and carry on the good form."
