Burnley have put youth coach Terry Pashley in temporary charge following the departure of manager Eddie Howe.
Pashley, who has been at Turf Moor for almost 20 years, will be assisted by Andy Farrell, Billy Mercer and Jason Blake ahead of the Championship home game against Blackpool on Saturday, live on Sky.
He will then take charge of the team for the Lancashire derby as long as the Clarets have not named a new manager before then.
Pashley has helped to develop the likes of Jay Rodriguez, Chris McCann, Kyle Lafferty and Richard Chaplow in the Burnley youth system.
In his playing career he made over 400 Football League appearances, with spells for Burnley, Blackpool and Bury.
Howe returned to former club Bournemouth last week, citing "personal reasons" for his decision to drop down to League One.
