Everton boss David Moyes was unhappy with the decision to dismiss Steven Pienaar in the 1-1 draw against QPR.

The Toffees manager was scathing of the performance from referee Jon Moss, but was satisfied to earn a share of the spoils.

Asked how he would describe the sending off, Moyes said: "A rubbish decision by the referee. He had a poor game all day.

"I am happy with the point. We went down to 10 men and the players dug in. Overall it was a hard point."

Meanwhile, defender Phil Jagielka hailed Everton's spirit as they held on for a a point following Pienaar's 61st minute red card.

"It shows the spirit we've got, we dug in," the England centre-back told Sky Sports 1.

"Once we went down to 10 men I thought we did a very good job and limited them to very few chances."
