Leicester Tigers flanker Tom Croft admits a place on England's tour of Argentina this summer is a more realistic prospect than touring Australia with the British & Irish Lions.

Croft - who made a big impact for the Lions in South Africa in 2009 - has not played international rugby for almost a year due to a neck injury.

He made his comeback for Leicester last month and is back in England's Elite Player Squad. But with only an outside chance of featuring in England's Six Nations as his comeback from injury is carefully managed, the 27-year-old concedes his chances of touring with the Lions are remote.

"There's a Lions tour of Australia and an England tour to Argentina," Croft told the Rugby Paper.

"My goal is probably to get on that England tour. After the injury I've had, if I could squeeze in a Six Nations match or two that would be a bonus.

"Then, if I can have a good run of form, I might get a call for Argentina."
