Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy has signed a new deal with the club, ending speculation about his future.
Bellamy - whose current contract ends in the summer - has signed a new four-year deal with the NRL champions, rejecting overtures from St George Illawarra, amongst others.
The 44-year-old will coach his team in the World Club Challenge against Super League champions Leeds at Headingley on February 22 and said: "It took a little bit of time to work things out but I think the main reason is I feel like a bit of a fan I suppose. This is my club.
"The emotional attachment is very strong, especially with the players. There's a fair few of these players that have been here a long time now, six, eight, 10 years.
"I really enjoy working with the group of players we have got here. They are really important to me, not only as a coach but as a person.
"At the end of the day, I probably found that attachment too hard to break to be quite honest.
"At the end of it I probably found that emotional rope a little bit too hard to cut. I love the people in this organisation and we've got a really hard-working staff."
