Sedgefield has been abandoned

Tuesday afternoon's meeting at Sedgefield has been abandoned due to frost and snow.
Clerk of the course Phil Tuck called the check as the track was frozen and covered in snow with further showers forecast.
Tuck was due to inspect the track at 8am but made an earlier call as there was little chance of a thaw in time for racing.
He said: "There's no prospect of a thaw with a slow rise in temperature.
"There's an accumulation of snow, some from yesterday that has been blown about a bit and drifted, and then we had a bit more through the night.
"We walked the track at 7am and it was snowing then and it's left us with frost underneath the snow.
"It's set to get 4C but not until 3pm which will not sufficient to move the snow and frost."
