Scott Dixon passed Sebastien Bourdais nine laps from the end to win the latest IndyCar race over the streets of Toronto.

It was Dixon's second consecutive triumph following his first victory of the season last weekend at Pocono.

The 31st win of the New Zealander's career moved him into a tie for seventh on the all-time list with teammate Dario Franchitti, Bourdais and Paul Tracy.

Bourdais was second as he claimed his first podium finish for six years.

Franchitti was third and Maro Andretti fourth, followed by Indianapolis 500 winner Tony Kanaan and IndyCar Series leader Helio Castroneves.
