Great Britain claimed two more Skeleton World Cup medals as Lizzy Yarnold and Shelley Rudman secured podium places in St Moritz.

World Cup leader Yarnold took silver behind American Noelle-Pikus Pace, with Rudman taking bronze after finishing just 0.04 seconds behind her compatriot.

Yarnold's silver medal ensured she maintained her perfect record of a podium finish in every one of the six World Cup races this season.

"We've got two Brits on the podium and I'm really proud of that because it shows our strength in depth," said Yarnold.

Back on the track where she became world champion last year, Rudman moved up from joint-third place after the opening run to take the bronze medal outright.

She was then pipped by Yarnold before Pikus-Pace broke the track record to take victory by 0.40 seconds.

"I've had so many things happen to me with my back injury and illness over Christmas, so I'm really happy things connected and I got a bronze medal," said Rudman.
