Anya Shrubsole: Finished with 4-51 as England restricted Australia to 207

England bowler Anya Shrubsole says they remain confident of victory despite suffering a late collapse on the second day of the Women's Ashes Test against Australia.

Shrubsole took four wickets at the WACA as England bowled Australia out for 207 but the tourists were reduced to 18-3 before the close, a lead of 12 runs.

Shrubsole told Sky Sports News: "Obviously we were disappointed to lose a few wickets at the end of the day but there's still a lot of time remaining in this Test match, and we're confident we can get a positive result.

"We'll regroup, come back out tomorrow and hopefully Arran (Brindle) and Natalie (Sciver) will be able to put some runs on the board."

Shrubsole finished with figures of 4-51 while Kate Cross took 3-35 on her debut, but the former acknowledges there is still plenty of work to do if England are to emerge victorious.

"Whenever you play Australia at home in any sport, you know it's going to be a challenge," said Shrubsole. "So far, as a bowling group we've risen to that challenge.

"We're only halfway through this Test match so there's still a lot of time to bat. Hopefully the runs will come on Sunday."
