My best memories of 07 would be Leeds Rhinos beating the mighty St Helens in splendid fashion at Old Trafford to win the Super League Grand Final. And 2008 could be even better. Come on you, Rhinos

Best memory of the year without any question must be the WC in France. Great hosts, wonderful food and wine and England was magnificent. The footbal team should take note and learn from it. The game against France gave me more pleasure than ever. Well done to the boys. Ricardo Newcastle

My Favourite memory of 2007 would be yesterday's draw between Chelsea and Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge . This game had everything in it - 2 penalties , 3 redcards , brilliant goals and mistakes from keepers .

My highlights of the year are manchester united winning the league and the 7-1 mauling we gave roma that was extra special after how united fans were treated in rome!. Also McClaren getting the sack was good and even better we appointed Capello as the new boss. Another highlight was the england rugby union side doing so well in the world cup (least we got to the final!) Also Lewis Hamilton was fantastic and i hope he can do it in 2008! Also a special mention to ricky hatton (still the best in his weight class)

My favourite moments have to be the last few minutes of the ICC World T20 final! The sixes hit by Misbah and Sohail Tanvir that got Pakistan back in the game and gave us some hope, the last fatal shot that we all sat and watched with our hearts in our throats (I started crying when Misbah did that- we almost had it!) It was a heart-breaking match but definitely the most memorable one I have ever seen!!!

The best sporting moment has to be the performance of the England Rugby Team winning France in their own back yard and the comments from Will Greenwood after the match "PLATINI,MITTERAND YOUR GUYS TOOK ONE HELL OF A BEATING" Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!!

India winning the 20-20 world cup with the last gasp shot that Misbah played was absolutely unbelievable. From a sure shot winning position to nearly giving the match away it had everthing. Also Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal playing the french and wimbledon final was great as was the last F1 race of the season, where from nowhere KIMI came and took the title away from Alonso and Hamilton. This was Hamilton's title to lose and he did it, though the blame should be more on the car rather than on him, but he showed great composure and calmness.

My memory for 2007 isn't really one moment... It's the way Villa have been playing recently. It's a long time since I've seen Villa play good attacking football. And with the new manager and chairman I can see good times for Villa in 2008 and beyond! Come on you Villans!

My favourite moments of this year:- (i) India winning the T20 WC. (ii) Arsenal beating Man Utd at the Emirates to complete a double over them. (iii) Kimi Raikonnen winning the Driver's Championship right at the death. (iv) Yuvraj Singh hitting six sixes in 1 over in the T20 WC. (v) And last but not the least, Arsenal making a "youthful" and revitalised comeback in the title race in the Premier League. Cheers to Sky Sports for making me view all these moments. Thank You... and goodbye 2007!!!!

My favourite sporting moment of the year would have to be Euro 2008 qualifier between Russia and Israel. After England's failure I was looking for something just short of a miracle and the Israelis did it. That brought England back into the frame, of course we all know what happened there... but that result was both shocking and enjoyable.

My favourites of 2007 are Joe Calzaghe finally getting seen as the great champion he is, England getting knocked out of euro 2008 - what a moment. That great Wimbledon final, Yuvraj Singh six sixes in the 20/20 world cup. Lewis Hamilton coming so close to winning his first world title, England losing the rugby world cup final. France's victory over New Zealand in the world cup - I won ¿65 on that game. England's cricketers being humbled all year, about time they woke up and realised it is now 2007 nearly 2008 not 2005. Mourinho leaving Chelsea was a suprise and a big loss to the English game. Liverpool getting to the final of the champions league was a good showing by them but Milan were too good this time. Arsenal's great run of form, awesome so far when they were written off. Garcia losing the Open after leading for so long was hard to watch. Overall a great year - some really good highs but some bad lows too.

JT coming back to celebrate the Carling Cup match after that knock. The man is iron! Petr Cech's first game back. Ok result was bad but the fact the guy was able to carry on his career was just. Being the first to win the FA cup at the new Wembly.16 injuries and we did the double. Beating and going beyond Liverpool's record set for unbeaten home games. That Milian Liverpool final. And as someone said hearing the excuses afters. And that false sense of belief we could qualify for Euro 2008.

the best sporting moment of 2007 was undoubtedly the wimbledon mens single final. a brilliant match between the top 2 players which ended with federer equalling bjorg's record of 5 consecutive wimbledon titles. and this was just when everyone was saying that he was having a poor season and was past his best already!! i also loved it when england didnt qualify for Euro 2008, all those "world class players" and we counldnt get through that group, finally the bring down that the team has needed for such a long time and a great way to prove that Mcclaren was the wrong choice for manager.

Barry Nicholson scoring in 2nd last game of the season at Tynecastle, that result alongside beating Rangers last game of the season got us in to Europe. Now it's Bayern Munich over 2 legs, reminds me of the glory days of the 80's

Memory of 2007 has to be Jose Mourinho leaving Chelsea, a bad loss for english football. Also India's Yuvraj smashing six sixes and the Wimbledon final between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. A fantastic year of sport.

Best memories of 2007 would have to be cheering on Lewis Hamilton in the final race of the season. Best season since the Hill Vs. Schumacher epic. On the football side, Man Utd 7-1 Roma was an immense game with a team firing on all cylinders. And also not to mention a great team performance from Scotland to beat France on their own patch. Its a shame England didnt show as much grit, passion and determintation.
