Keith Hancock (man city me) says...

Would love to see City go after Maicon, he was complete class in the confederations cup. Would love to see Chielini from Juve also. Apart from that I am happy with what we have and who we are linked with.

Peter Lloyd says...

After watching the confederations cup i feel that brazilian full back Maicon is the real deal.A real class act with tremendous skill and touch,i hope Carlo Ancelotti makes him a priority for Chelsea this summer.

Akmal Khan (Arsenal fan) says...

If Arsenal were going to compete they should sell adebayor and buy benzema or ribery 30 million and bendtner that will be worth it and swap senderos for melo and 10 million or buy 2 r.madrid playas for 30 million hunterlaar and sneijder

Ian M (Manchester United fan) says...

There are some strange opinions on who United should buy and who will shine - I dont think the likes of Tosic will shine for some time, I dont see him getting many games, same with Foster, I still think VDS will be number 1 and Foster will do as Kusczak has done, play the lesser games! As for transfer targets, I would love to see United buy Huntelaar and Ashley Young. I dont think Antonio Valencia has what it takes to be a United player - no offence to Wigan, but its easy t shine there!! Rooney should be played up front this season! its his best position, as he proves every time he wears the 3 lions! I think Ronaldo is worth every penny of his transfer price, he is the best out there, I also understand his reasons for going, he won it all at United, so its time for a new challenge! One player I have always thought would be great in the prem is Lukas Podolski - someone buy him!!

Hardev Dhanda (Liverpool fan) says...

I know we've brought in Glen Johnson, a fantasic player, who will get forward and provide some assists but we need a better winger. I think we need to bring Aaron Lennon, who towards the end of last season was sensational, he's quick, can beat players and get some great crosses in. Also he's English which accounts for the 6-5 rule.We need him because Kuyt isn't the most skilful. Also we have to buy another striker because Torres cannot play every game. David N'Nog is simply rubbish, so I think we have to snap up Almeria's Alvaro Negredo. He scored 19 La Liga goals in 35 starts last season for improving Almeria. But moneybags Real Madrid do have a buy back option, hopefully Benitez and the rest of the reds spanish contingent can persuade him to be playing infront of the Kop next season. Buy those two players and the Premiership should be winging it's way back to Anfield

If liverpool want to win the title next year we need 2 or 3 good signing ,Glen is already her ,just get tevez, robben or silva and Aguero .we ll be much more stronger than any other team in the whole world .

Douglas Costa says...

Well First of I think Man United will bring in Segio Aguero, Douglas Costa and possibly David Silva. Why do Man U need two strikers they dont.I wouldnt buy Benzema as he will push Rooney out onto the left wing, which wont bring the best out of him, everyone see's what he does for England so why not play him in that same position he has scored 10 goals in 7 games recently for England.Douglas Costa can become the worlds best player if he goes to the right club and theres no better club to learn your trade at than Man U.I thought before we sold Ronaldo and let Tevez go that we would need a left mid and David Silva will come at a reasonable price unlike Ribery and if we do sell Berbatov then we should get Benzema. If this happens this should be the team.GK:Foster RB:Rafael CBS:Ferdinand and Vidic LB:Evra CM:Carrick RCM:Anderson LCM:Silva Second Striker:Rooney Forwards:Aguero and Benzema.Subs:Van Der Sar,Brown,Hargreaves,Scholes,Douglas Costa, Welbeck,Evans

Frank Webster (Manchester United fan) says...

As a United fan the loss of Ronaldo and Tevez will undoubtedly have an effect on the side, Ronaldo's goals will be a huge loss as nobody kills off the lesser teams better I would say, not just that be whether or not you like the guy he is one of the best players in the world also Tevez's work ethic will be sadly missed too. We need to replace Ronaldo, bring in another top striker and i feel we need another central midfielder. Strikerwise Benzema would be a great signing he is capable of scoring goals and he is also a fantastic player and would bring more quality to the team, if not Benzema then someone like David Villa, it may be unlikely but he is a class act, Aguero would also be a brilliant buy as he is one for the future or if it was goals Sir Alex wanted Huntelaar is a goals machine and would be a decent buy. For a winger Ribery is the obvious target but the price is ridiculuos. However I feel he could do a good job in replacing Ronaldo, but I also think that Ashley Young would be a worthwile signing Sir Alex could turn him into the next big thing at United as he is already a quality player. As for a central midfielder Douglas Costa is a target, but to be hones tI dont know much about him, I think the likes of a Lucho Gonzalez would enhance our squad or even a Wesley Sneijder. I also think that Antonio Valencia will arrive which should bolster or squad. Sir Alex should also invest in a RB as O' Shea is a good cover player but we need the likes of a Maicon or Sergio Ramos. United have to use this £80+ million wisely if we intend to continue our dominance as we need to replace Ronaldo and Tevez with the highest quality of players.

Patrick Herrity (Newcastle United fan) says...

Just looked at the Michael Owen Brochure, never seen or heard the like of it,, "Ambassador" yeah right, as a Newcastle player he hardly spoke or even smiled, the most we seen of him was in his documentry about his horses. I dont like wishing bad luck on anyone but good luck to the club that swallows the brochure, cant help feeling he mugged us, would feel the same if we only paid 5 million for him.

Tom Peel (Chelsea fan) says...

Chelsea's squad has been decreasing rapidly over the last couple of years so we need to spend some good money on quality young players. Looks like Daniel Sturridge will be joining so thats a start. Then bring in 1 more striker Adebayor/Villa/Tevez/Aguero/Pato/Ibrahimovic I would all be pleased with. Then we need a left back to cover Ashley Cole and I hope that player is Zhirkov - I have seen videos of him and he is packed with skill, is nicknamed ''The Russian Ronaldinho", can play Left Back or Left Wing and is still only 25.We then need a Centre back if Carvalho leaves - Mexes and Bruno Alves are unsettled at their clubs and are both quality. Next we need DECENT cover for Bosingwa: Maicon would be the perfect addition!!! Ribery/Ashley Young would also be great to provide healthy competition for Joe Cole. A young goalkeeper like Scott Carson or Ross Turnbull would be great to provide Cech with a good back up. Finally we should bolster the squad with some U21 talent so that when the current players get old we have good young talent coming through.

David Galvin (Liverpool fan) says...

If Liverpool want to win the title this year their gone to have to get a new striker possibly aguero , a new left midfielder silva , and we got our new right back glen johnson if rafa could get these players liverpool would be a my favorite to win the title

Dennis Darboh (Liverpool fan) says...

Rafa needs to keep Alonso, Mascherano and Babel at all costs, as them three players are key to the team and it is vital that they stay with the club. Then rafa should try to keep arbeloa so johnson has some competition, but to sell itandge for £1m, leto for £3-£4m, Voronin £3-£5m, Leiva £3-£6m and bring in Aaron lennon to play on the right wing week in week out , Diego Capel of seville to play on the left wing and to compete with Riera as Capel has the pace and trickery to stretch teams at Anfield. David Silva from Valencia, a creative mid in the iniesta mould who can open up teams and any given time any where on pitch. And lastly a world class striker who could play with torres or cover torres if torres is injured at anytime in the upcoming season: David Villa, Sergio Aguero or Samuel Eto any of the three would guarantee liverpool goals

James Cookie (Arsenal fan) says...

Arsenal really do need to buy this summer if they are to assure a champions league place never mind competing for the league!!! We need a complete midfield player like Xabi Alonso. We need another stricker someone with a proven goal record like Luis Fabino or Gudjohnson because being realistic arsenal dont have the option of buying people like David Villa or Benzema. Also a strong defender like chivu would be welcome to the club!

Jack Pinnock says...

as a west ham fan i feel we need at least 5 more players for a guaranteed europa league spot next season. Firstly, a left back is needed to cover for ilunga, someone like nicky shorey would be perfect but maybe he would like more first team football. Secondly, a right back is needed to replace the departed lucas neill. micah richards would be very ideal. Thirdly, the hammers would need a centre back who is extremely quick, powerful and physical and i think a 7 million bid for johan djorouou will do the trick. furthermore we do need a central midfield player to cover for parker and noble and maybe we need someone like steve sidwell. finally and most importantly we need a prolific goal scorer who is very quick and powerful and i feel we should make a bid for djibril cisse as i feel he is more suited to west ham style of play.

Robbie Herd (Liverpool fan) says...

I am aware that David Villa isn't committing to sign for a Spanish or Italian club which indicates the premier league possibly. I recently read in the World Football magazine that here is a player who is not inspired by money. Although that sounds refreshing and almost unbelievable, he has had the chance on numerous occassions to move from Valencia for big big wages and has declined. It now appears that Valencia have no choice but to sell. However, this would indicate a club v player difference. The club will want the best fee, but the player will not necessarily want the best money (wages), hence why he will not commit to Spain (Real or Barca), Italy, (Milan Inter or AC) but may chose the premiership. Chelsea and Utd can offer big fees but if he is to be believed in what he says, he puts his football first. If thats the case then Liverpool maybe his first choice because of Torres his friend and brilliant International partner. I certainely hope this would be the case.

Dre Williams (Chelsea fan) says...

I think chelsea only need about 3 signings to strenthen our squad. i think we need to get another striker that is sharp, skillful and as an eye for goal (Pato), a winger with lots of skills and pace (ashley young) and a reserve keeper that is professional ( Cudicini) bring him back. I also think it would be good if Deco and Carvalho went, they were both impressive players at the bridge, especially Carvalho but with Deco not happy and Alex in form i think that would be a good idea for them to part, also it would give Ivanovic and Mancienne a chance to shine.

Malish Joseph says...

For Wenger to improve Arsenal this season ,he should be able to retein the players for a long period of time .Like now the players who went through the unbeaten season are no where to be seen, only Kolo Toure and this makes Arsenal not to perform well .Therefore, Wenger needs not to spend on buying more players but spend on the players who are already at the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United fan) says...

United dont need to splash out 80m to replace ronaldo. I reckon SAF has been preparing for his departure for two years now. We bought Nani for 17m when he was only 20. Compared to buying ronnie for 12m. I believe if nani is givin the oppurtunity he can become just as good as ronaldo, we seen moments of brilliance from heim already and with regular 1st team football he can produce those moments more regularly. We can splash out max 10m on Gremio youngster Douglas costa, who is highly rated. Though its believed gremio want 20m, ludarcris for an 18 year old. In january we bought tosic and Llajic. Both believed to be two of Europes hottest prospects. With Nani and Tosic going down the flanks utd can become even better than before now and for atleast the next 5 years. We need to strengthen our attack though. We should buy guisseppe rossi from Villareal, former red, currently playing for Italy in SA. Has the potential to become one of the worlds best attackers. Benzema would be a great buy but he is not compulsary. We have Macheda and Welbeck coming through in the next couple of years, who should both turn into great players. There is also a young kid called ravel morrison played for united reserves, who is 16 and made his debut for the reserves at just 15. We also signed Davide Petrucci, who I believe is better that Macheda at 16. He said to be the next Totti. I hope we dont let frazier go because hes a really talented player. Rossi could cost about 20m + 10m for Costa adds up to only 35m. This teams might not nessarsarily fire next year but it would definitly challenge on all fronts in years to come.

Jamie Chaffers (Liverpool fan) says...

I would like someone to explain the current valuations of certain players. As a liverpool fan i will admit Ronaldo is currently the best player, player of the year, world player etc. Although i personally prefer messi for TEAM play. This isnt my point. My point is ribery and ibrahimovic, neither have played in a top league (1. The Prem, 2. La Liga) neither have performed against english clubs and neither in my opinion is close to world player of the year. However both are currently valued more than real paid for Kaka, who was world player of the year prior to ronaldo and a champions league winner. FIFA and UEFA should quit moaning about the english league and state that Ronaldo, worlds best player valued at £80mil should not be eclipsed and Kaka at £59mil is number 2. The prices quoted for certain players is ridiculous. If Torres cost £21mil (Best striker around) Ibrohimovic shouldnt be worth £80mil, Torres is four years younger

Chris Simmons (Plymouth Argyle fan) says...

I think Man Utd should sign 3/4 players now Tevez and Ronaldo have gone, these should be Sergio Aguero, Ashley Young, Karim Benzema and Antonio Valencia. Sergio Aguero - He is quick and can score goals, i believe he could play well with Berbatov or Rooney. Ashley Young/Antonio Valencia - They need a good old fashioned winger because Nani has not paid off at all. Karim Benzema - Would mean Rooney played on the wing and he showed he can play there. Douglas Costa - Raw talent and one for the future Potential starting 11: Foster Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Evra Valencia Carrick Anderson Rooney Benzema Aguero As for Liverpool i would say they need to sign quality wingers as they have Torres and Gerrard playing well off him. They should sign David Silva and a quality right winger. Chelsea need to remove the dead wood and look to sign youth.
