Grant: Can he haul in Manchester United?
Sir Alex Ferguson takes his Manchester United side to Stamford Bridge on Saturday for a clash which is likely to decide the destiny of the Premier League crown - and we would like your thoughts ahead of this heavyweight encounter.
Is the only result that would keep the title race alive a Chelsea win? Is the momentum with the Blues after their Champions League draw at Anfield?
Should Avram Grant's side come out on top, will they still be able to haul in Ronaldo and co in the remaining two games?
Who will be the key figures when the sides line-up?
Will either manager have one eye on the UEFA Champions League semi-finals when they name their teams.
Do you think the two could meet again in Moscow in the Champions League final?

I have a sneaky suspicion Chelsea will score early on and hold on to win 1-0. I hope I'm wrong but I've been a United fan for too long to believe they will do it the easy way today.

As a united fan I hope we win today, but Chelsea have a formidable home record so I will be happy to settle for a draw. I also believe we deserve the title more than Chelsea because of the style of football we produce, Solid defending and our attack play is a joy to watch. Ronaldo may be deservdly taking all the plaudits this season but I think that Carrick, Anderson and Hargreaves, more recently have been brilliant. COME ON UTD.

The best result Chelsea can manage is a draw. We've seen throughout the season that United are capable of turning it on in the premiership, but when required, they can also soak up the pressure away from home as shown at Nou Camp. And believe me, United will be far more fired up than Chelsea, with a chance to seal the title at the bridge this season(too bad we'll miss the royal welcome as last year, maybe a royal farewell?) I just hope the game is attractive enough, as I'll be getting up at 4:30 in the morning to watch it!!

Derek Joseph (Chelsea fan) says...
Chelsea should win on Saturday, Utd have played the better football in general but Chelsea have more to prove and should have more passion going into this game. Utd have been luckier with injuries just as last season when Chelsea lost the title because of key injuries, so it is credit to Chelsea that they are still in the hunt at this late stage of the season. I think next season Chelsea will be playing more attractive football again under whoever is the manager

For the good of football man utd must win the title. chelsea play in such a robotic systematic way that it would be a shame for them to triumph. nothing has changed under grant.

I think a Chelsea win is likely on Saturday, we have great character and strength as we quietly go about our business, despite very little striking power unlike the other top 3 teams. I do have to say that United have played fantastic football and at times I have sat back in awe. Plusthey have a truly fantastic squad. For those reasons, it hurts Leto sayit but Unitedprobably deserve to edge it. When we win the league (next season), let's do it on top form and in style!

i think it will be a draw, with united going on to win the prem. fair play to chelsea with all their problems this season to still be in with a shout for the 2 biggest trophies in the world. As a cherry ill be a blue for the rest of the season.

Lou Poulain (Chelsea fan) says...
The dull style of play masks how deep and strong Chelsea really is. The best football of the year was a period of 30 minutes or so in the second half of the Arsenal game a few weeks ago. If Chelsea plays with that level of intensity and goal-focus, it could be a long afternoon for Man.United. Unfortunately, we've not seen it often enough for Chelsea to be a convincing champion.

I am a football supporter. I watch any game, but my team is Manchester United. I do not hate other teams and slag them off. I would obviously hope that Man U will beat Chelsea, but what is the point of all this agro. Is it not a sport at the end of the day. One other comment - Why does Andy Gray call Northern teams when in competition with Southern teams. Has he forgotten his grass roots?

Manchester United will deservedly win the League (and it pains me as a Liverpool fan to say that!!). How ironic that Manchester United will win the trophy Liverpool crave, while Liverpool will go to Moscow and win the trophy United crave!!

No matter what people say, Chelsea have done well under Avram Grant, going by the pedigree of Chelsea under Jose Mourinho. Even though i am not sure whether Chelsea would win the League, I cant rule that out as well. The Team has been slow but very steady, with very strong character. UP CHELSEA!!!

Yet again Sir Alex has produced, through his skill and expertise in energising his team to Peak thier performance when they need to the most. United not only will win the Preier League but deservidly too. What a delight to watch a team thats depth in goal scoring ability can come from anywhere at anytime, oponents struggle to find a structure on how to deal with the inevitable. For me, its for United to lose rather than Chelsea to win. I hope for footballs sake United enjoy success in both the Premier Leage and Champions Leage. United are beccoming the Benchmark in in all areas of the game, in this country and now europe and the world, lets only hope that the FA can start to open its blinkered eyes and develop its methods of allowing the Football to flourish whilst keeping emotions and players tantruns and imaturity under control. It's surely time to embrace technology, not to take over but to support and bolster the Refferees who have a almost impossible task to achieve. Afterall, one middle aged guy trying to keep up with twenty Highly Charged and very fit young Proffessionals is haerdly fair!

I'm a huge Chelsea fan, but even if we do beat Man U, which i think we will, its hard to believe that they will drop points against West Ham and Wigan. Also, we probably have harder fixtures than them anyway with Newcastle flying and Bolton fighting to stay in the league. Man U to win the league on goal difference, although i really hope im wrong! You never know, we could do them 10 - 0!

Meyen Shaiyen (Manchester United fan) says...
Sir Alex is highly experienced when it comes to times like this. I think it is virtually impossible for united to lose in stamford bridge. The worse result would be a draw because they both would have an eye in the champions league. I also expect us to meet in the final because liverpool have already commited suicide. At the end united would come out victorious!

Nick Biron (Arsenal fan) says...
I hate to say it, as i am an arsenal fan, but i can only see Man U winning everything this year, they will be in the final of the CL quite easily with the next leg at home, and even if they loose to chelsea i still believe they have the ability to win the league. Ronaldo has been unstoppable this season and he will win player of the year, and possibly young player of the year aswell. That added to Lampards recent problems for chelsea and i can only see one winner. However, i will be cheering chelsea come saturday!!

James Arthur says...
If Chelsea manage to win the title it is a travesty but a feather in the cap of Avram Grant. How a side can play so one-dimensionally all season and still be in with a shout of winning the Premier League is beyond me.

John Clarke says...
Who cares what happens. The death of Franbk Lampards mum put football into perspective. Lets hope all fans show support for Frank, even the morons who abuse him week in and week out. He desreves better at this time. Frank, the true fans are with you.
