And now skysports.com wants to know who you would like to see on the move as clubs begin to return to pre-season.
Who will be this summer's biggest transfer? Which club will be the first to make a move?
Will Cristiano Ronaldo remain at Manchester United? Is Frank Lampard bound for Internazionale?
Has Gareth Barry burnt his bridges at Aston Villa? Will Arsenal allow Emmanuel Adebayor to move to Barcelona?
Who would you like your club to sign? Who do you think needs to find pastures new?

wolves are dicussing a move for matt hill from preston and that could see stephen elliot move the other way wolves need a left back because george elokobi is out for several months with serious knee ligament damage and he would seeem the obvious replacement and wolves still need a centre back because jody craddock is out 3/4 months with a broken toe so i would suggest anthony gerrard or/and danny higginbotham

Just heard the latest rumours that Alan Smith looks set to sign for Everton within the next 48 hours... think this could be a good piece of business by moyes, at the right price. He'd go some way in filling the gap left behind by Carsleys exit and would give 110% each game.. We still need atleast one more flair player in midfield like Jose Moutinho, maybe even rearrange another loan deal for Manny Fernandes as extra cover we so desperately need...

things seem to be picking up in the transfer window, and as a villa fan i wish there would be a little more activity. M.O.N has repeatedly berated the fact that he has the smallest squad in the P.L. However each window that has come by he has promised much, and delivered little. again this summer so far, we have lost 5 as such, and brought in only 3. we needed to increase the squad size not decrease it. and with barry likely to be next, as liverpool are willing to stump up "crazy money" (16 - 18mil???) we have seemingly missed the boat again! we have been linked with the likes of Robbie Keane, Chimbonda, Malbranque, Crouch, Milner, Kaboul, Andy Johnson, Bosingwa, etc and as of yet they have either have gone elsewhere or we have not made a move. and signing friedel for £2m (albeit he is a great keeper but relistically only has 2 years left max) and allowing carson slip through our fingers as he signs for STOKE!!!!!!! for only £3m, and he is young and an english internationsl? In Martin we trust, but i would still like to see less words, more action!

I cant belive Wenger hasnt resolved this midfield shortage ! Nasri is no way as good as Hleb, so Arsenal are down in that dept. Also the defence is on a knife edge, one injury and its a goner ! In my opinion the backups are not ready for top flight football, the money he has should be put to good use ! We all adore Wenger but our patience wont last forever ! Also all of this talk about Given being availiable is nuts ! If Wenger has the capacity to sign him he better ! He is a world class keeper, better than almunia in my opinion. I would love to see Us sign players like Cuellar - Rangers (never put a foot wrong in any competition last season) Darren Fletcher/Micheal Brown was a good one from the other Arsenal fan below me and finally a world class goalscorer to help adebayor and cover our other strikers would be amazing, Villa? Klose ? Podolski Maybe? Finally what Wenger said about us being a 'selling club' really worries and saddens me! That surely has alerted teams towards Toure, Van Persie Clichy maybe even Eduardo. Would be a complete disaster if they were to leave. C'mon Arsene give us a masterclass !!

i'm happy with the signings Luiz Felipe Scolari has made for Chelsea in the summer transfer market. Deco - 8m, he is an experienced player who I think will influence the midfield area along with Ballack and Lampard. Jose Bosingwa - 16m, he is young with lots of potential for the future! I think we need another centre-back (possiblilties would be Lescott, Metzelder or Puyol) and also I would like to see Chelsea sign a striker (either Robinho, Eto'o or Gilardinho)

With the injury to Bellamy we are seriously short for attackers. Cole isn't Premiership standard no matter how hard he tries, Sears and Hines would be good at the end of the season but they need to go on loan to toughen up a bit. Another defender and a quality holding midfielder are also needed, if not its going to be another frustrating season and a new manager on the cards!

In response to Paul Armstrongs comments....I am always reluctant to post personal opinions but I feel in this instance I need to. Your comments are typical of the arrogance I have become to expect from Liverpool supporters over the past few months as the Barry saga has dragged on. Yes, we all agree it has been a rather tumultous period of negotiations and to be honest the quicker this is sorted, the better. Since the time that your interest in Barry came to light I have read many opinions on whether he would be well received at Liverpool and to my amazement it appears that most Liverpool fans would prefer not to have him! Your comments that he is a good player in an average team may be a fair comment, but again it typifies my belief that Liverppol fans believe the gap between you (weakest team in the top four) and Villa (a strong contender European qualification). Without wanting to sound bias, I believe that with one or two quality signings (using both the money that is available and with the money to come from selling Barry) and a few squad players to deepen the squad we are a club ready to challenge you for the final top four position. Yes you have an illustrious history but that means nothing looking forward! You have two fantastic players yet surrounding them you have a fairly average squad. Finally, your comment that you would not be supporting Liverpool if Barry was to join you, till he left, is absolutely pathetic and once again shows the immature attitude I have seen from Liverpool's 'little boy in a sulk' supporters.

Have been watching the Emirates Cup, and Jack Wilshere looks great - so glad he is now a first team player at 16! It would be good if we could buy Alonso, as we need to add depth to our squad as we showed last season. As long as we don't play Senderos we should be OK, but we have plenty of talent in defence, with Djourou possibly ready to step up to first team level if need be...midfield should be fine, especially if we buy alonso, and we have a really good strike force... COME ON ARSENAL!

I am very happy with Fulham¿s signings so far this season. If this AJ transfer finally goes through, it would sum up a very good close season in the transfer market. I certainly, am optimistic, but then I always am, and I am looking forward to seeing how all our new players work together. All in all well done Roy.

villa need to keep gareth barry, and buy a right back, a good winger (reyes would be a good option) and a 20 goal a season striker

Peter Nealon (Newcastle United fan) says...
Mr Ashley deserves enormous grattitude from all Newcastle fans, our club was teetering on the brink of a collapse of leeds utd style proportions. With no debt now and 40,000 season ticket holders the club can now move on in the right direction. These so called fans need a serious reality check, no established world class player is going to look twice at coming to st james park with no european football or title aspirations. Keegan is doing the right thing in picking up young hungry players like Guthrie, a much underrated player who can actually play football with his brain as well as his feet, (something many of todays over-hyped players fail to achieve.) Who remembers anything of Rob Lees career before he became a Tyneside legend, a steal at £700,000! So have faith in Mssrs Keegan and Ashley, king kev knows how to spot a good footballer, and let mr ashley keep his money in his pocket until the time is right. In a couple more years when the team is a more attractive one to the top stars, then will be the time for him to flex his financial muscles!

well... to start lets just have a moment for the legend who goes by the name of ... Ole Gunnar Solskjaer... ronaldo has never said he loves playing for united however in his time here has made a massive impact on the squad. i feel if all the negativity and lack of love for the club shows that ronaldo does not belong in the red devil squad. 70/80m would be more than enough to buy a new midfield or just go for 2 world class players. pref a striker. saha should go and i dont think young Campbell will step up this season..

Football does not neet thugs like Barton, and Keegan is the only one at Newcastle that does, the FA should revoke his licence to play. Why is it that when players sign for a club it always says, eg. signed on a 3, 4 or 5 year contract, when it seems to me that contracts don't mean diddly these days, should we not now make players, and clubs honour contracts?

Jack Owen (West Ham United fan) says...
I think that West Hams new signing Valon Behrami is one of the best deals of the Summer, in terms of a deal that is most needed, As a fan of West Ham i look into which players are playing the best and which players are doing worse, Lucas Neill has to be one of our worst deals in the last couple of years, his level of consistency is horribly low, thats why i am so thankful that Behrami has singed In terms of other deals we need to make this summer, I feel that we should sign a new centreback, to back up players like Anton Ferdinand who regularly get injured it seems, somone like kaboul of spurs or Meite of Bolton would be good players to sign in my eyes However with the current squad we have and Bellamy and Dyer returning (which is fantastic news!) I feel that we should be able to reach a European position this season. Up the Hammers!

I am very happy with the current arsenal squad and think one more midfielder will set us up nicely for the new season. I disagree with comments about big spending being needed to compete for the title, we have a squad that has been kept together (with minor exceptions) over the last few years and young players are no showing real quality. Although we haven't won anything for a while we have still been right up there in all the major competitions. Furthermore, we have a great strike force with the likes of Robin V-Persie, Bentner, Eduardo, Vela, Adebayor and all have shown their potential recently! We need no more Strikers! Im ready for a sucessful season!

i believe that Liverpool need to sign a top quality winger after the signing of barry, someone like Silva, Downing, Milner or Quaresma. i think that rafa should play a 4-3-1-2 formation next season playing Reina Degan Carragher Agger Aurelio Mascherano Barry Gerrard Babel Torres Keane this formation couldmatch any in premier league. watch out for babel next season, the next henry will come alive.

David Ginola (Tottenham Hotspur fan) says...
I think Ramos has done excellent in the transfer market so far! Dos Santos looks like a world beater from what i have seen of him. I have been tracking this kid for a while now and how Barca can let him leave for up to 7m is beyond me. Modric and Bentley will bring the proven quality to the team that was desperatly needed last season, Jenas, Zakora and Huddlestone are good but lack the class needed to boss games against physical teams, with Modric, Bentley and Dos Santos we can simply pass them off the field. Gomes is sketchy at times but what Spurs goalkeeper in the past hasnt. 4-5-1 is Ramos's preferred tactic so when/if Berbatov leaves i feel we only need one more striker, Bent, Perkhart and (other). As great as Villa is i cannot see him fitting into this system or him coming to us. Ramos is duplicating the team that he had at Sevilla so Villa really doesnt fit the mould. Kanoute and Fabiano are tall, quick, strong on the deck and in the air, Villa isnt all of these. Dont get me wrong he is a top top player, for this system???? i think not. More likely will be Pavlychenko, Santa Cruz or Milito (maybe not these specific player but definitely of this mould). The only worrying aspect for me is the DC position. King and Woodgate are class but getting a full season from any of these is a task that in my opinion is impossible. There has been no speculation as of late to who will be filling this gap? If we can get a decent centre back, left sided midfield (not desperate but would be good cover) and a striker (if Berbatov leaves) we may finally have a season that is worth watching!!!!!
