Keane: Not a happy camper
Roy Keane is wondering why Sunderland failed to crack out the open top bus, while Tim Howard says Everton were robbed, literally!
The Black Cats have never been one to set the Premier League alight, but their recent run saw them claim an impressive nine points from three games.
Although the quality of Sunderland's opposition was not that high, some people were struggling to keep their feet on the club following the club's recent exploits.
Keane felt that following the hype surrounding Sunderland's form that maybe the team should have had an open top bus parade after their 3-1 success at Fulham.
"I was interviewed after the Fulham win and every one was saying what a good performance it was, but I was saying it wasn't," said Keane.
"We had our three victories-and maybe we should have had an open top bus parade last weekend because everyone was getting so carried away."
Meanwhile, Andreas Dahl enhanced his CV for becoming a security officer once his playing career ends after taking care of an unwanted guest in his own unique way in Nordsjalland's game with AaB.
A streaker burst onto the pitch, but Danish Premier League player Dahl had no intentions of letting the naked man disrupting the game for too long by taking him down in one swift blow.
A boot to the privates...
"I know it's the stewards' job, but why shouldn't I be allowed to kick him in the balls?" he told The Observer.
"I just stuck out a leg and hit him straight in his special area.
"I guess it was a bit unfortunate for him, but it wasn't as if I was aiming. He sure went down fast."
Finally, Tim Howard breaks down the ins and out of a bank robbery following Everton's late 1-1 draw with Birmingham.
So incensed by Radhi Jaidi's antics prior to Blues' equaliser, in which the Tunisian defender jumped around behind Everton's wall with the sole purpose of putting off the American keeper, he claims it was daylight robbery.
Howard was surprised the match officials failed to spot Jaidi's spoiling tactics and says in his own unique way that unless the perpetrators are not punished then they will continue to do the crimes.
"He was in my line of sight. I suppose it's ungentlemanly conduct in a way but he got away with it," said the former Manchester United keeper.
"I don't think referees and linesmen in the Premier League are going to have enough gumption to disallow a goal on the basis of that.
"And that's the way it is. If a guy robs a bank and you don't catch him, then he keeps the money."

What Ken W says is pretty much the type of garbage you would expect from delusional Newcastle fans. Sunderland fans are realistic football lovers who have seen their club dragged through the mire with broken promises over and over again. They now have a true fan of both the game and the city running the club and a young hungry manager that has achieved much more than Sunderland fans could imagine over the last two seasons. NUFC are a club that has become the laughing stock of football for on and off the field activities, they have had a few decent performances against sub standard teams (Spurs couldn't be bothered) and all of a sudden the Keegan the Clown and the puppeteer Ashley are heaven sent. They will be brought back down to earth on Sunday when they meet a team that wants to win more, wants to play for their manager more and wants to win for their fans...more. Derbies are won on desire and the lads have bucket fulls more than the journeymen playboys up the road.....and lastly Middlesbrough is not a derby.

In reply to Kev W, People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Your the worst fans in the country for thinking your great and thinking you have a devine right to be in the top 4, top ten for that matter, You will be in administration in the next 5 years. King Kev the whole country is laughing at you, Bring on the Derby on Sunday I see nothing but a Sunderland win. As for Boro that isnt a Derby there Derby is Leeds.

The problem RK has got is these Mackems are all the same. A win good or bad and next thing they are renewing their passports for Europe you should here them on the local football phone in what a laugh the boss said the game was poor they are so blind they thought it was the best show they have put on yet, the slap in the face will come when they play Newcastle this weekend and then Middlesbrough the week after, two local derby defeats I predict then they will come tumbling from the trees.
