Wednesday's market moves

Podolski: 11/2 to open the scoring.

Three times European Championship winners Germany take on Croatia on Thursday live on ITV1 from 4:30pm.

Victory for either side could potentially secure them early progression to the quarter-finals and Sky Bet are offering 4/5 for Germany to come out winners, 9/2 for a Croatian victory and 9/4 the draw.

Germany are expected to name the same side that beat Poland 2-0, with striker Lukas Podolski who scored both goals available at 11/2 to open the scoring, 6/4 to score at any time in 90 minutes, 33/1 to score a hat trick and 2/5 to be Germany's top tournament goalscorer.

Sky Bet are also offering a number of specials prior to the match including; 5/4 for Germany to keep a clean sheet, 7/2 for any German player to score two or more goals, 8/1 for the Germans to come from behind and win and 9/2 for Croatia to get eight or more corners in the match.

The other match on Thursday evening sees joint hosts Austria taking on Poland, live on BBC1 from 7:30pm.

Both teams are still seeking their first victory and it's 5/4 for Poland to come out on top (12/5 Austria and 9/4 draw).

Amongst the many match specials available it's, 6/4 for Poland to keep a clean sheet, 5/1 for both sides to score in the first half, 8/1 for Poland to come from behind and win, 10/1 for Austria to come from behind and win and 15/2 for Poland to open the scoring in the first ten minutes of play.

Germany's maximum bid

After the first round of matches in the Euro 2008 Championships only seven teams could gain maximum points in their respective groups.

Germany who beat Poland 2-0 in their opening game are 6/4 to finish on nine points.

Croatia who would have to beat Germany and Poland to gain 9 points are 11/1 and Holland who are currently top of Group C are 9/2.

Spain, who got their campaign off to a flyer last night by seeing off the Russian's 4-1 are 2/1 to gain maximum points and Sweden who beat defending champions Greece are available at 14/1.

Sky Bet are also offering a market on teams to finish the group stages without any points.

Joint hosts Austria who were 100/1 for the tournament prior to the start are 2/1 to end the championships without any points and Poland, who face Austria on Thursday are 13/2.

Italy who are the only team in Group C not to have any points are 14/1 and Greece who have two hard matches in front of them against Spain and Russia are 11/4 to go home without a point.

Chanderpaul chance

The final Test between the West Indies and Australia gets underway from the Kensington Oval, live on Sky Sports Xtra from 3:00pm on Thursday.

The West Indies have to win to level the Series and with the Kensington Oval suiting their fast bowlers Sky Bet are offering; 6/1 for the West Indies to come out on top (1/2 Australia and 5/2 the draw).

The West Indian batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul's unbeaten 77 in the West Indies second innings of the second Test meant he became the first batsman to make unbeaten fifty-plus scores in both innings of a Test on three occasions.

Sky Bet are offering evens for Chanderpaul to score more runs than Australia's Ricky Ponting, 5/2 that Chanderpaul is the West Indies top batsman in their first innings of the third Test and 1/5 that Chanderpaul finishes the Series as the West Indies top batman (scored 313 runs so far - 101 runs more than his nearest rival).

Australia will be hoping they can emulate their first innings of the second Test where both Simon Katich and Michael Clarke made centuries and Sky Bet are offering 1/3 that Australia post a higher first innings score than the West Indies, 5/1 that Simon Katich scores the most runs in Australia's first innings and 9/2 Michael Clarke scores the most runs.
