Friday's market moves

Modric: Outstanding at Euro 2008

Croatia coach Slaven Bilic described Tottenham new boy Luka Modric as the best player in Europe following his side's shock Euro 2008 win over Germany - but Sky Bet don't expect him to rack up the goals for Spurs next season.

Modric followed up his match-winning penalty against Austria on Sunday with a man-of-the-match performance against Germany to illustrate just why Tottenham splashed out £16.6million for him.

And Sky Bet have opened up a couple of special markets, pitching his over/under Premier League goals at 5.5 (5/6 for fewer, 5/6 for more) while also quoting 7/1 about him netting ten or more league goals in his debut season.

Phil your boots

There's been no shortage of speculation as to who Luiz Felipe Scolari's first signing as Chelsea boss will be - and Sky Bet make Deco their 11/8 favourite.

The Barcelona playmaker, playing under Scolari for Portugal at Euro 2008, is the clear market leader.

And next come two Barca colleagues in Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o, both of whom are on the 5/1 mark.

Sky Bet are also betting on Ronaldinho's club at the start of next season - making Chelsea 5/4 favourite, Manchester City 5/2, any Italian club 6/1, to remain at Barca 6/1 and 10/1 bar.
