Sidwell: Set to join Villa

Aston Villa have agreed a �5.5million deal for Chelsea midfielder Steve Sidwell and Sky Bet make him a 7/2 chance to score on his Villa debut.

Sidwell made only seven Premier League starts for the Blues but he's expected to make far more of an impression at Villa Park and is 5/6 to score six or more Premier League goals next season.

He's also a 4/1 chance to score against Chelsea in either of the two Premier League clashes between the pair.

Striking out?

Spain striker and current Euro 2008 top scorer David Villa has played down talk of a move to England and Sky Bet reckon it's a 5/2 chance he's still at Valencia on the opening day of the new campaign.

Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly interested in snapping him up and it's 3/1 that he moves to Stamford Bridge and 9/2 that he ends up at Anfield alongside fellow Spanish striker Fernando Torres.

It's also 4/1 that he moves to Inter Milan, 8/1 to AC Milan and 12/1 to Barcelona.
